How much does a cubicle with a door cost?

Full-height with a door runs $3,200 to $5,800 new, or $1,900 to $3,400 used, installed. Building a drywall office with electric and HVAC typically starts around $8,000.

Do doored cubicles meet code?

Yes when planned right: egress, sprinkler clearance, and ventilation all factor in. We handle that in the layout, and we flag anything that needs your landlord’s sign-off.

How long does it take to get cubicles with doors?

New doored systems typically run six to ten weeks from order. Used units come through occasionally and can install within a week or two. The door hardware is the long-lead piece, so if your timeline is tight, ask us what's in stock first.

Are cubicles with doors actually quiet?

Quieter than an open cubicle, not as quiet as a built office. A full-height door with a soft seal drops enough sound that a phone call stops being everyone's business. If you need real confidentiality, you want a privacy pod or drywall.

How much floor space does a doored cubicle need?

Plan for the station footprint plus a door swing, or spec a sliding door and skip the swing entirely. Sliding doors are the more common choice for exactly this reason. A 6x8 station with a slider fits where a 6x8 with a swing door won't.

Can doored cubicles be locked?

Some systems offer a lock, most don't. They're designed for visual and acoustic separation, not security. If you need a locked space, put the lock on a storage tower inside the station rather than on the door itself.

Can we add doors to the cubicles we already have?

Sometimes, if your system offers a door kit and your panels are tall enough. Send us a photo of the manufacturer's tag on a panel and we'll tell you straight whether a retrofit exists or whether you'd be better off replacing the run.
