Conference Table Questions We Hear a Lot

What size table fits my room?
Take the room length, subtract six feet, and that's your longest workable table. Send the room dimensions and we'll send back a to-scale layout with chair counts.
Can you wire power through the floor?
If the building has a floor core, yes, and we coordinate it with your electrician. Otherwise we run clean under-table raceways to the wall.
How much does a conference table cost?
An eight-foot laminate table runs $900 to $2,000. A twelve-foot veneer table with power runs $3,000 to $7,000. Used conference tables in good shape often land at a third of new. Power and data modules add $200 to $600 per grommet.
How many people fit at a conference table?
Figure 30 inches of edge per person. An eight-foot table seats eight comfortably, ten if you use the ends. A twelve-foot table seats twelve to fourteen. Leave at least 36 inches of clearance between the table edge and the wall so chairs can pull out.
What shape works best for a conference room?
Rectangles maximize seats and fit square rooms. Boat-shaped tops let people at the ends see each other, which matters for video calls. Racetrack tables soften the room and read as less formal. For a room under 14 feet long, a rectangle is almost always the right call.
How long does a conference table take to arrive?
In-stock and used tables can deliver within a few days. New special-order tables run six to ten weeks, and veneer or custom sizes can run longer. Order the table first and the chairs second; the table is the long lead item.
Can you match the table to our existing chairs and finishes?
Usually. Send us a photo of the chairs and the finish you're matching, and we'll bring samples to your office rather than asking you to judge a color on a screen. Matching wood tone across manufacturers is imperfect, so we'd rather show you in person.
Do you deliver and install conference tables in Columbus?
Yes, with our own crew across Columbus and central Ohio. Large tops come in sections and get assembled in the room, so a narrow doorway or a tight elevator isn't a dealbreaker. Tell us the building access when you order and we'll plan the route.
