How We Grade Every Piece

"Used" means somebody owned it first. Minor scuffs and dings are normal, and we tell you about them before you buy. Here is the scale.

Grade A

Looks nearly new. Cleaned, inspected, worn parts replaced. You would have to hunt for the flaw.

Grade B

Light wear you'll stop noticing in a week. A scuffed base, a faded panel edge. Fully functional, priced to match.

As-Is

Just what it says. Cosmetic wear or a known quirk, disclosed up front, at the lowest price on the floor.

Grade A and Grade B pieces carry a one-year mechanical warranty, in writing.

Used Office Chair Questions We Hear a Lot

What gets replaced on a used chair?
Casters, gas cylinders, arm pads, and seat foam when worn. Fabric is cleaned; reupholstery is available on request. Grade A and B chairs carry a one-year mechanical warranty.
Are used Aerons worth it?
Best value in seating. The frame outlasts fashion, parts are everywhere, and a graded used Aeron at $450 does what a $1,400 new one does.
How much do used office chairs cost?
Most used task chairs run $75 to $250. A refurbished Aeron or Leap lands between $350 and $650 depending on grade and options. Executive leather chairs run $150 to $400. The same chair new would be two to four times those numbers.
How fast can I get 40 used chairs?
If they're on the floor, within 24 hours. Matching sets of 40 in one model come and go, so the honest answer is that availability drives the timeline more than logistics do. Call and ask what's in the warehouse today; the answer changes weekly.
Do used chairs come with a warranty?
Yes, one year on the cylinder, the mechanism, and the base. Those are the parts that fail. Fabric wear and cosmetic scuffs are graded and disclosed up front rather than covered, so you know what you're buying before it ships.
Can I see the chairs before I buy?
Yes, and we'd rather you did. Our Columbus showroom on Alum Industrial Drive keeps used inventory out on the floor. Sit in three or four, pick the one your back likes, then we'll tell you how many of that model we can source.
How long will a used chair last?
A commercial task chair is engineered for ten to fifteen years of daily use, and most of what we sell is three to seven years in. With a replaced cylinder and clean casters, you're realistically getting another five to ten years out of it.
Do you deliver used chairs around Columbus?
Yes, throughout Columbus and central Ohio on our own trucks. Chairs arrive assembled and adjusted, not boxed. For small orders you're welcome to pick up at the warehouse, and we'll help you load.
