How We Grade Every Piece

"Used" means somebody owned it first. Minor scuffs and dings are normal, and we tell you about them before you buy. Here is the scale.

Grade A

Looks nearly new. Cleaned, inspected, worn parts replaced. You would have to hunt for the flaw.

Grade B

Light wear you'll stop noticing in a week. A scuffed base, a faded panel edge. Fully functional, priced to match.

As-Is

Just what it says. Cosmetic wear or a known quirk, disclosed up front, at the lowest price on the floor.

Grade A and Grade B pieces carry a one-year mechanical warranty, in writing.

Used Privacy Pod Questions We Hear a Lot

Why are used pods so much cheaper?

New pods carry heavy freight and margin. Used ones sell at 55 to 65% off because moving them is specialized, and we're the ones who move them.

How often do pods come in?

Unpredictably: a handful per quarter. Leave your name and the size you need, and we'll send photos the day one hits the dock.

How much does a used privacy pod cost?

A used single-person booth runs $3,000 to $7,000 and a used meeting pod runs $8,000 to $20,000, roughly 40 to 60 percent of new. Delivery and reassembly are quoted separately because pod moves are more involved than furniture moves.

How fast can a used pod be installed?

If it's in our Columbus warehouse, usually within a week. Pods arrive as panels and get assembled on site by our crew, which takes half a day for a single booth and a full day for a larger meeting pod.

What condition are used pods in?

We check the glass, the door seal, the ventilation fan, and the lighting on every pod before it goes on the floor. Acoustic performance depends on the seal, so that's the part we're strictest about. Panel scuffs are graded and photographed.

Do used pods come with a warranty?

Yes, one year on the fan, the lighting, the door hardware, and the electrical. Those are the components that fail. Acoustic rating is the manufacturer's original spec, which we'll share, and we'll tell you if a seal has been replaced.

Can a used pod be moved again later?

Yes, that's a real advantage over building a room. Pods come apart into panels and reassemble in a new location. If you're leaving the space at lease end, a pod goes with you and drywall doesn't.

Do you install used pods in Columbus?

Yes, across Columbus and central Ohio with our own crew. We confirm the freight path, ceiling height, and nearest outlet during a site visit before delivery, because a pod that won't fit the elevator is an expensive surprise.
