How We Grade Every Piece

"Used" means somebody owned it first. Minor scuffs and dings are normal, and we tell you about them before you buy. Here is the scale.

Grade A

Looks nearly new. Cleaned, inspected, worn parts replaced. You would have to hunt for the flaw.

Grade B

Light wear you'll stop noticing in a week. A scuffed base, a faded panel edge. Fully functional, priced to match.

As-Is

Just what it says. Cosmetic wear or a known quirk, disclosed up front, at the lowest price on the floor.

Grade A and Grade B pieces carry a one-year mechanical warranty, in writing.

Used Break Room Questions We Hear a Lot

Is used break room furniture sanitary?
Everything is cleaned before it hits the floor, and break room pieces are laminate, vinyl, and metal, surfaces that sanitize like new. Nothing upholstered in fabric goes to a break room.
What does furnishing a break room cost used?
A 12-seat break room typically lands under $1,500 used, roughly a third of new. That budget difference buys a very good coffee machine.
How fast can I get used break room furniture?
In-stock tables and chairs go out within 24 hours. Break room furniture turns over quickly in our warehouse, so quantities of matching cafe chairs come and go. Call and ask what's on the floor before you plan around a specific model.
What condition is used break room furniture in?
Laminate tables and steel or poly chairs clean up close to new, and that's most of what we stock. We're pickier with upholstery: if a booth cushion is worn or stained, we don't resell it. Everything is graded and photographed as it actually is.
How many used tables and chairs will I need?
Plan seating for 25 to 35 percent of your headcount. A 48-inch round seats four, a 30-by-48 rectangle seats four, and a 24-inch bistro table seats two. For 60 people that's usually four to five tables and 16 to 20 chairs.
Do used break room pieces come with a warranty?
Yes, one year on frames, bases, and mechanisms. Cafe chairs and table bases are simple and rarely fail, which is part of why used works so well here. Cosmetic condition is graded up front rather than warranted.
Can I see used break room furniture in Columbus?
Yes. Our warehouse on Alum Industrial Drive keeps used break room inventory out on the floor. Sit in the chairs; stackable cafe chairs vary a lot in comfort and it's not something a photo tells you.
Do you deliver and install used break room furniture?
Yes, throughout Columbus and central Ohio. We assemble tables in the room, set the layout, and take the packaging and your old furniture with us. Evening and weekend installs are available if the break room can't go down during the day.
