Silen makes office pods and acoustic dividers that cut noise and add privacy. They help people focus in open offices. Capital Choice offers Silen products in Columbus.
Why Does Quiet Matter at Work?
Open offices bring people together, but they also bring noise. Noise can pull your attention away and add stress. A quiet space helps people think clearly and finish hard tasks.
Silen designs pods and dividers to give people a place to focus or talk in private. Some products work for one person. Others work for a small team. The goal is the same: less noise in, less noise out.
What Are the Silen Product Lines?
Silen offers several lines. Each one fits a different need. Here is a quick look:
- Silen Space: privacy pods from solo booths to team-sized rooms
- Silen Bridges: modular dividers that shape quiet zones
- Silen Hybrid: accessible pods for every employee
What Is Silen Space?
Silen Space is a family of privacy pods. Models range from solo booths to team-sized pods. The maker rates these pods for sound reduction of up to 43 dB. That means a calmer space for deep work or private talks.
What Are Silen Bridges?
Silen Bridges are modular dividers. Use them when you want a quiet zone but do not need full privacy. You can rearrange them to split a large area into smaller zones. The curved shapes make a natural spot for quick chats and team huddles.
What Is Silen Hybrid?
Silen Hybrid offers privacy pods built with accessibility in mind. The maker says these pods meet Americans with Disabilities Act guidelines and offer wheelchair-friendly designs. They give the same kind of sound reduction as the Space line. Ask us to confirm details for the model you want.
How Are Silen Products Made to Last?
Silen builds its pods and dividers for long use. The maker says it uses sustainable materials, including textiles made from marine plastic. You can swap skins, finishes and wheels as your needs change. That keeps your space fresh without a full replacement.
What Are the Benefits of Acoustic Pods and Dividers?
- Better focus: Less noise means fewer distractions.
- Less stress: Quiet spaces help people recharge.
- Teamwork with privacy: Modular pieces support group talks without noise for others.
- Flexibility: You can rearrange modular products as your team changes.
Where Do Pods Fit in an Open Office?
Pods work well in many spots. Place a solo booth near a busy work area so people can take calls without leaving the floor. Put a team pod near the edge of a room for quick meetings. Use dividers to mark a quiet zone between a loud team and a team that needs calm.
Think about power and walking paths too. People need an outlet inside a pod, and doors need room to open. A simple layout drawing helps you spot these issues before you buy. We offer a free 3D drawing of your office layout, so you can see the fit first.
How Do You Choose the Right Quiet Space?
Start with how people use the space. Pick a solo booth for calls and deep work. Pick a team pod for small meetings. Pick dividers when you want a calm zone without walls. Our privacy pods page shows what we offer. Our office design service can help you plan where they fit.
